Chongqing Passion Electronics Co., Ltd. was established by Dr. Tang Fang in Chongqing Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone in 2018, dedicated to the design, R & D, and sales of scarce chips for segments ofmedical devices. Making breakthroughs with medial electronic and power electronic chips, which rely on its technical spearhead, the company envisions becoming a first-rate chip design company in China. It has completed the R & D and application ofPTYJ237, the first core chip product for finger-clamp pulse oximeters in China, which can substitute imported products and makes the company the only supplier of similar chips of finger-clamp pulse oximeters in China. The company sold nearly 600,000 oximeter chips in 2019 and nearly 5 million from January to July, 2020, becoming a direct provider of core components for several listed medical device companies in China.

The chairman of Passion Electronics is Dr. Tang Fang, who is in charge of the R & D, management, and operation of the company. Dr. Tang is a candidate of major national talent programs, Ph.D. from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, doctoral advisor and distinguished fellow of the “HundredTalents Program” of Chongqing University, and IEEE senior member. He is also a council member of ASQED, EDSSC, and other international conventions and the deputy director of Chongqing Engineering Laboratory for High-performance Integrated Circuit.

The company was officially put into operation at the end of 2018 and has built a main client network including several listed companies andleadingoximeter manufacturers in China. The company is expanding its presence in the field of high-end electronic chips for medical devices and accelerating the research and development of IBP, ECG, and high-end blood oxygen monitoring products, while maintaining their scarcity, reliability, and safety. With the support of the partners of domestically leading medical deviceoverall-unit manufacturers, it is rapidly occupying market share and consolidating its position in the industry.
